Common Listing Visibility Issues and How to Fix Them
1. Listing Not Showing in Search Results
-
Issue: Your listing isnβt appearing in property search results.
-
Fix:
-
Make sure the listing is active. If itβs still in Draft status, it wonβt be visible to the public.
-
Check your subscription payment β if payment hasnβt been made, the listing will remain inactive.
-
Ensure the correct location is selected in the property details. If the city or locality is incorrect, the property may not appear in searches for that area.
-
2. Listing Showing as Expired or Inactive
-
Issue: Your listing shows as expired or inactive despite being up-to-date.
-
Fix:
-
Listings automatically expire if auto-renewal is turned off or the invoice for the listing wasnβt paid.
-
Go to My Subscriptions and confirm your payment is up-to-date. If needed, pay the pending invoice to reactivate your listing.
-
If auto-renewal is turned off, enable it in My Profile > Subscriptions to prevent future expiration.
-
3. Missing Property Information or Images
-
Issue: Your listing appears incomplete or missing essential information like images, price, or property details.
-
Fix:
-
Go to My Listings and click Edit to ensure all required fields are filled out, including property images, pricing, and descriptions.
-
Ensure the primary image is uploaded, as itβs essential for property visibility in search results.
-
4. Property Showing in the Wrong Category
-
Issue: Your property is categorized incorrectly (e.g., a house is showing as commercial).
-
Fix:
-
Edit the listing in My Listings to correct the property type.
-
Ensure that the Property Type (e.g., Residential, Commercial) and Property Sub-Type (e.g., Apartment, Villa) are selected correctly.
-
5. Location Not Updated or Incorrect
-
Issue: The property isnβt showing because the location details are incorrect or incomplete.
-
Fix:
-
Verify that the City, Locality, Area, Longitude, and Latitude are correctly entered.
-
The property might not show up in searches if location details are incomplete or incorrect.
-
Check that the locality is available in the dropdown options.
